

Today’s tip on how to help an addicted loved one recover is nobody becomes addicted on purpose. Individuals with low self-esteem may be at risk, and this includes perfectionists, people-pleasers, and sensitive types like me. They are desperate for others to prop up their wobbly sense of self-esteem and self-worth. So just remember that although certain individuals are more prone to becoming addicted, no one becomes addicted on purpose.
