Today’s tip on how to help an addicted loved one recover is about empathy. If we have empathy and we share in our addicted loved ones experiences, then we begin to understand the depth of his struggle. In turn and over time, our loved one will be more likely to share his experiences and feelings in-depth, which is a huge step in order to explore his lingering ambivalence. So just remember to practice empathy.
